When Alexah was only a few months old, her mom, Daisy, noticed she couldn’t extend her arms to reach her toys and only turned her head to one side. After a trip to the pediatrician’s office, Alexah was diagnosed with torticollis. “I was so scared,” remembered Daisy. “I didn’t know how this would affect Alexah the rest of her life.”
Fortunately, Alexah and her family were referred to Penfield Children’s Center. After meeting Alexah’s physical therapist, Pam, the family immediately knew that they were not alone on their journey.
During this challenging time, your support is needed now more than ever to help children like Alexah reach their full potential.
